預防輪狀病毒所引起的腸胃炎(G1與非G1血清型如G2、G3、G4和G9)。

| Dose |
PO.
Two 1.5 mL doses, the first dose was given between 6-14 weeks of age; completed by 24 weeks of the age (2 doses ≧ 4 weeks apart).
僅供口服使用。
完整疫苗接種程序共須接種兩劑，最好在出生後六至十六週接種，並且必須在出生後二十四週內完成。兩劑間隔不得少於四週。
內含稀釋液的注射筒在貯存期間會形成白色的沉澱物與澄清的上層液。口服投予之前應再輕搖內含泡製後疫苗的注射筒。切勿採用注射的方式投藥。

| 禁忌症 |
禁忌症：
(1) 先前曾在接種Rotarix疫苗之後發生過敏反應者，
(2) 未經矯正的胃腸道畸形，因其會使胃腸道較容易發生套疊，
(3) 已知或疑似免疫功能缺陷的嬰兒。

| Contraindications |
Contraindicated used in patient with uncorrected congenital malformation (such as Meckel’s diverticulum) of the grastrointestinal tract, hypersensitivity, immunodeficiency, and asymptomatic HIV patient.

| 常見副作用 | 煩躁、咳嗽、發燒、食慾減低、嘔吐。 |
| Common adverse drug reactions | Irritability, cough , fever, loss of appetite, vomiting. |
| Adverse Reactions |
Fever, irritability, gastroenteritis, vomiting, diarrhea, UTI, otitis media, bronchiolitis, pneumonia, bronchospasm, nasopharyngitis
可能的副作用：腹瀉、嘔吐、喪失食慾、發燒及煩躁等。

監測
Monitoring |
(1) 對發生急性嚴重發燒性疾病的患者，應延後接種Rotarix。但輕度的感染現象則非接種疫苗的禁忌。
(2) 有腹瀉或嘔吐症狀的患者，應延後接種Rotarix。
(3) 與最近剛接種疫苗者接觸時，應格外注意個人衛生（如換小孩尿片後務必洗手）。
