作用機轉
Mechanism of action | Contains inactive human papillomavirus (HPV) proteins HPV 16 L1, and HPV 18 L1 which produce neutralizing antibodies to prevent cervical cancer, cervical adenocarcinoma, and cervical neoplasia cause by HPV.
Cervarix是一種致癌性HPV16/18型之外鞘蛋白(L1蛋白)所製成的類病毒粒子(VLPs)予以高度純化後製備而得的非感染性基因重組疫苗。由於VLPs不含病毒DNA因此並不會感染細胞、複製或導致疾病。動物研究顯示，L1 VLP 疫苗主要是透過引發體液免疫反應的方式來達到預防效果。
在全世界所有的區域中，有70%左右的子宮頸癌可歸因於HPV第16/18型。 |

Prevention in females 9 to 25 years of age of the following diseases caused by oncogenic HPV types 16 and 18: Cervical cancer, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) grade 2 or higher and adenocarcinoma in situ, and CIN grade 1.

| 禁忌症 |
1.對本疫苗活性成分或任何賦型劑過敏者。
2.有急性嚴重發燒性疾病的緩者應延後施打Cervarix。

| 常見副作用 | 注射部位疼痛、發紅、腫脹、疲倦、發燒、頭痛、肌痛。 |
| Common adverse drug reactions | Injection site pain, redness and swelling, fatigue, fever, headache and myalgia. |
| Adverse Reactions |
神經方面:頭痛。
胃腸道方面:噁心、嘔吐、腹瀉及腹痛。
皮膚方面:發癢、搔癢、皮疹、蕁麻疹。
肌肉骨骼方面:肌痛、關節痛。
全身性疾患與頭與部位反應:注射部位疼痛、發紅、腫脹、疲倦、發燒。

Monitoring |
Gynecologic screening exam, papillomavirus test; screening for cervical cancer should continue per current guidelines following vaccination. Observe for syncope for 15 mins following administration.
